Well congratulations, friends, it’s Friday and we’ve made it through yet another busy work week, which means it’s time to celebrate! But tonight, instead of opening a bottle of wine and polishing off that bag of Chips Ahoy, why not class up your routine a bit and concoct something more interesting – like this super decadent dessert in a glass?!
Chocolate Martini
Makes 1
- 1½ oz. chocolate liquor (such as Godiva)
- 1½ oz. vanilla vodka
- 3-4 ice cubes
- chocolate syrup for rim of glass
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour chocolate syrup in to a small, shallow plate. Turn martini glass upside-down and dip rim into chocolate, covering all edges.
Lift glass from chocolate and allow excess syrup to drip off.
Set glass aside.
Add liquors and ice to a cocktail shaker, and (nothing against James Bond here) stir with a long spoon rather than shaking to combine.
Carefully pour into martini glass. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, serve with a couple cookies. Repeat as necessary until your sweet tooth is satiated or the memory of your stressful week begins to become cloudy, whichever comes first.
